I had the best valentines day ever. First I got surprised in the morning with a red rose homemade brownies and the most delicious salad you can imagine with avocado and goat-cheese. Had a really nice lunch in the sun and after we went to lake Merritt and we brought things so we could draw picture was so much fun.
Work a little in the afternoon got a heart shaped box of chocolate from my host family and then. In the evening We went to a place in Berkeley which is amazing it has the view over the whole Bay Area.
The whole day was just amazing. Didn't expect anyone to do that for me but really appreciated it! Hope everyone had a great valentines day!

Tuesday ! Week started of good not to much at work and was kicking it with a friend last night!
This weekend was just so amazing the greatest weather ever I almost got sunburned already. Went out to a chill spot in Berkeley evening after work. Had a really nice time.
Went to ocean beach on Saturday morning with Marie from France Selma from Bosnia and Maria and Jennifer from Columbia. We had such a nice day always a little bit colder and windy at the beach but we had brought picknick so it was awesome anyways. After that we decided to hit up the city for a minute and it was cool since it was Chinese New Years !
Was hangout out with another friend on Saturday evening and we went to spend time with some good friends of his. Was a fun evening always cool to meet new people.
Had to work a little Sunday from noon til. Three but took the kids out in the sun so it was all good. Afterwards I met up with Sophie in Newark and we where just taking and chillaxing, always nice to meet up with her!
Well coming up next booking vacation Miami beach 1-7 April

It's to bad I don't blog more often. But I really feel like writing here right now so that's what I'm gonna do!
I think January has been a amazing month, the weather was warm and sunny. Had lots of pick-nicks had a great time with my host kids and just been hanging out a lot with good people. Also doing great with working out and food so right now my life is so awesome.
I was off work this weekend so me and Sophie decided kinda spontaneous to visit Sacramento which also is the capital city in California. We had a blast, first of all our bus tickets where ridiculously cheap, 6,50 bucks back and forth and it's only a 2 h bus ride. We went on Saturday morning and when we arrived we went to two museums and then we check out old town and downtown and after we had breakfast-lunch-dinner at panda express, yummy.
We didn't really have a strict plan about what we wanted to do but we had so much fun and in the evening we ended up at a Irish pub. Sophie found something before we went about couch surfing. Basically people let you sleep in the house for free, you can make a profile online and that's how you get in contact with people. So we decided to try it, and it worked great, a couple responded to us and they said it was cool we come one night. They picked us up downtown at the evening and we hang out with them the rest of the night. First we went to a desert bar and that's exactly what is sounds like. They ate some cake and I just tried everyone's haha.
After we sat in their apartment playing video-games all night. That's usually not what I like to do at all but I was so in to this burnout racing game. Their friend that also stayed there over the night was living in Oakland so we didn't even have to get the bus home we drove with him. All together a fun experience in Sacramento, will probably not plan on going back too soon, feels like It was a onetime thing to see.
I was home about 2 pm on Sunday and a friend of mine came and picked me up to go to the Super Bowl party. San Francisco 49ers was playing against ravens and it was a even game. Was so much people there I didn't expect that at all. They evening had a BBQ and campfire and beer-games back in their garden. If you stood there you had the view all over San Francisco's skyline and the baybridge and golden gate, pretty cool!!! The party went on to late night so was sooo tired yesterday when I had to be up early to work. But that was a once in a blue-moon Sunday celebration.
Today I had lunch with a new pastor from the church which a met a couple of times before since I've been going to this meeting at another pastors house two Wednesdays He's a great guy, we had a good talk today when we had lunch. Feels great to be more connected to church. And Tomorrow evening I'll finally start bible studies with a group of ladies from church. Bought my books for a while ago and been doing a chapter all ready. I'm so excited.
I guess It's time to sleep now, very tired, even though it's surprising me.. Went to bed before 9 pm yesterday cause I was so worn out after this busy weekend. But guess the workout I had today before I started working effected a little.
Miss everybody back in Sweden a lot.. but must say, now more than ever I'm really tried to figure out how to stay in the country after my visa expires.. It's running too often through my mind that this will come to and end, too soon :(

Awesome weekend!
Friday was one of the best day at work ever. Kids had no school so worked 10 h. Had a play date with some kids from twins school. We went feeding the bird at lake Merritt and than we had a pick nick at the school. Spend the whole day outside around 60 degrees outside so it was great. Even got a little sunburned lol
Went to a hookah lounge in concord in the evening been there before with Martina when she came visit very nice relaxed spot.
Spend Saturday morning with a au pair from Bosnia that I met at the school last week. We took a long walk had coffee and enjoyed the beautiful weather, fun to meet new people. At the afternoon we met up with Marie a French girl I met when I just moved here. We went to Berkeley university and walked around there and after we checked out the marina which is so cool they have a pier there that we walked out on.
I spent Saturday evening in walnut creek with two others friends at a club dancing and having a good time. Will probably be less partying from now on dont feel like going back to old patterns but was for sure a great evening.
Today I had a pack nick at the lake and also walked around it. Such nice outside today sunny and warm loved it! Made a yummy tuna salad that I brought.
Now I'm in been tired after a great weekend so ima sleep early. Want to be fit for tomorrow kids has no school so hopefully I can take them and do something fun!
Goals for this week is to be outside as much as possible work out eat healthy no stress no worries and be happy,,, Sounds good to me !

Finally I feel how my life is starting to go the right direction again. I was a hard couple of months but now I see a light in the end of this dark tunnel I wasn't sure I was ever gonna get through.
This day has already been amazing. I woke up happy again love that feeling more than anything els. And not only that made my day great I met up with a friend first for coffee and than we took of to ones and spend a whole day of fun there and had some lunch before we left. Then I strayed working and had a play date and now fixing dinner.
Can't wait to find out what my next move in life is gonna be after this au pair thing. I dunno yet but I have a feeling God has a plan for me and that it's going to be great!
I did talk to my hosts yesterday about me next vacation week and its gonna be 1-7 April with Denise and Martina maybe well go to Hawaii !! Excited need too save up

Another day another dollar
And then came Monday. It has many times felt the worst day of the week for me guess since its because u have to go back to reality weekend is over. Today I woke up with a ton of energy which is very unusual lately especially for being Monday.
This weekend was awesome I had so much fun. I worked late both Thursday and Friday til after 10pm but then I was off work the whole weekend so it was great. Friday night I went to walnut creek with some friends to a club it was very nice there. Lots of people good music. And Saturday I met Marie a au pair from France for a coffee was nice to see her again. I spent Saturday night at first at a nice dinner and then after at a club in San Francisco first time I was out downtown but it was so much fun. Got to church yesterday evening and it was a great service it's such a great church they always inspire me to move forward in life to not stress and to be thankful and approximate what y got and I guess everybody needs to hear that from time to time.
I've been buying a lot of vitamins since I have been feeling down a lot. I didn't know if me being a vegetarian effected it maybe I didn't get all things I needed through the food I was eating. But now I feel so much better I really believe it helped and I eat better food and been working at the gym and outside the whole last week. Was not to hard to get back after the holidays so thankful for that. I'm actually about to hit the gym in a minute after I dropped kids at the school.
Well about time to finish some laundry nd find some cloths for my work out so better leave.

Hola mis amigos
My New Years was not to exciting I fell asleep before 12 since I had so high fever. Been sick my whole vacation but enjoying the time with my family anyways.
I came home 2 days ago but been feeling horrible so couldn't even work as it was planned yesterday. My mom insisted I. Taking my to the emergency I guess it was for the best have had a infection for 2 months and probably I've got the flu as well. Got a lot of medicine so now it's just to wait until I get better.
The vacation in LA was nice and I have new dr martens boots that I love and new cloths and make up couldn't be better. A lot of stuff that I needed so bad.
I have to work today so I'm a little scared how it will go since I feel so weak but I hope everything will be fine.
